10 miles northeast of Kettle Falls Bossburg was a mining town for the Young America, Silver Dollar and other mines. The town had two telephone companies, a newspaper, a town hall, two ferries, three saloons, two hotels, three general stores, and numerous houses. The town went ghost with the closing of the mines.
