Edward Bright bought 160 acres in section 2 which is now 2 or 3 miles east of Findlay along U.S. 224. He never married, lived alone and sold many cattle. Is in Marion township. He bought this property in the 1820's. He was thought to possess much gold, but when he died none was seen and it was thought he buried it for safe keeping. His scantily appointed cabin stood on the site of Dr. J. D. Tritches cabin several miles out on the Tiffin road. In his elderly days he was known as "old Neddie".... Submitted by: idigdirt127
