  • The story that I heard stated that in the late 1800's or early 1900's there were some counterfeiters in Lycoming County. They hid a stash of money and the plates to print it in a cave along the Susquehanna River. The cave is situated somewhere in the cliffs across the river from the town of Montgomery. The cave has never been found, I myself have searched the cliffs to no avail...
