  • The Lost Doukhober Mine, discovered in 1929,  is said to be located in the northern part of Stevens County. Ore from this mine assayed at 1,000 oz of silver per ton.

  • Janni's Lost Chimney of Galena was worked by his crew during the 1920's. The one day, Janni told the crew to cover it up. Reluctantly the complied, and the mine has not been worked since.

  • A cache of stolen "Matte" (a crude mixture of sulphides produced in smelting gold ore) is said to be buried in or near an old brickyard near Colville.

  • Robber's Roost is the supposed location of a treasure. It is thought to be located near Fruitland.
